Was browsing MCN (appologies) and came across this in their Events Section:

Club Aprilia Owners Day,
England's Rose, Postcombe, Oxford.
July 14

Even if you don't own an Aprilia, the organisers say there'll be a warm welcome for you at the second annual owners day event.
Aprilia UK will be there with a range of their latest machines as well as the factory prepared RSV1000R that raced at both the Bol D'or and the TT.
Prizes will be given for various categories of bikes including the best non-Aprilia.
Southern Cross Motorcycles, which specialises in Aprilias will be offering suspension advice and set-up assistance.
A live band will be playing in the pub in the evening to round off the day nicely.
Prices: Free (Camping £5 per tent)

Now, given the number of people saying:
1) We really should organise a meet-up
2) Who can I ask about my suspension set up
3) Many other related questions that I can't think of off hand

and with The Aprilia Riders Club obviously doing their bit to extend a welcome to all ..... it would be a pitty if we didn't get a good turn out from the ARS at this event .... including a huge collection of Falcos.
Seems ideally placed for those in the south and midlands - even the East Anglians and maybe a few brave Northeners could get there if feeling a bit more adventurous.
(Yes Goldie, Falcoholic etc ..... send notes from your Mums and we'll excuse you on the grounds that you may need more than one tank of fuel)

Ooh, might have to turn up for that. Southern Cross did a very good job (for free as part of a service!) at setting Debz' Tuono's springs up.

It's the same weekend as Kelso Bikefest and I'll still be drunkfrom the night before hopefully so I'll mostly be sitting this one out.

Wouldnt mind doing that one myself but bike is booked in first thing in the morning at speedaway for a service guy said it would take about 3 and a half hours but i suppose it could be a could excuse to test out their servicing skills and pootle down in the afternoon

Yeah - time depends if it's a valve check service - if so the engine has to be cold.
Speedaway did my last service - dropped the bike off the night before and they gave me a courtesy bike (their normal one was out and I got a brand-new R6).
Worth asking them as you don't want to have "cooling down" time added to the servicing time if you want to get away!
