Was looking for an old post regarding substitute parts on RSV,/Falco,
I seem to recall that early Nissan Micra fuel filter is good for the above bikes.
If it doesn't have Aprilia written on it its gonna be cheaper !

Wish I did look like a donut, but at 75Kg I look more like a refugee from Auschwitz.

I know this is an old thread, but speaking of substitute parts - the clutch slave cyclinder on my Falco was leaking.

So I pulled it apart and saw that the rubber cup was worn.

Aprilia wanted around $20 for it. After trawling through all the local auto seals suppliers, I finally found one.

The 1974 Land Rover brake slave cylinder cup is almost identical. I bought two for $4. 12 months later - no leak.

I hope this helps out fellow Aprilia owners.

Nice one! It might be an idea to start a thread in the Falco section where folks can list substitute parts they've uncovered, and make it a sticky. Will check out Fatboy's query on the Micra fuel filter as well, as I recall something like that.
