Looks as though the Shiver thing is near to release.

Here are some Pics

Here's some Info

..... be interesting to hear what MCN makes of it in their report next Wednesday (although it'll take a lot to convince me that it can be a Falco replacement)

.... that's my point!

You may or may not have noticed, but a number of people have suggested that the Shiver (or the rumoured half-faired version) could fill the "Falco gap" in Aprilia's range.
It also shares the SL designation.

..... not so sure myself .......

Mmmm so you should have been a bit more positive than:
although it'll take a lot to convince me that it can be a Falco replacement
Mind you I like the looks of the bike (and the Tuono) in fact before i bought the BM I was thinking of getting a Tuono, but the Italians love change for changes sake, which put me off buying a brand new one.

I think if the Shiver (bloody stupid name if ever there was one) takes off the Tuono will be history shortly after.

Rather like just after the introduction of the Mille Factory we saw the demise of the Falco and the old Mille.

Then there was the Futura, a fairly good looking bike, which died at birth as there were far to many touring bikes around.

Well thats my take on it and if I'm wrong well you can tell me I said so.

Excellent photos of an iffy looking bike.

Yeh, but as said on earlier thread, the half faired 1200 version to come later, with 135 bhp and, even better, 89 ft lbs of torque, looks like it might be worth waitin for. :smt004

I'm quite liking that.

Looks like a proper hooligan bike.

Paint it matt black, suit up in cammo pants green flight jacket, white simpson helmet with black visor and go mental.
