Just what I wanted to hear, sounds like they know how to build an engine & used pretty good materials at Rotax.
Don't mind doing the shims, but it does involve some calculations & shuffling of parts which is ok if you've got hold of the shims needed & haven't got a hangover!
I hear that there is also a balance shaft & you need to be careful not to drop bits into the engine!!! (I've managed this in the past with the Laverda, fortunately there was a plate in the sump, with the bit sitting on it), I have heard of other ways of picking thigs up, those telescopic arials with a magnet on the end work well, guess how I know!!

Congrats Rob - if you hadn't grabbed it I was about an hour behind you! Am sure you'll have a great time on it. Just need to find my own Faloco now - this is the second one I've missed out on in the last couple of weeks - but reckon you have to persevere. So if anyone hears about one for sale, particularly a black and bronze, please PM me.
Cheers guys.

Hi Steve - welcome to the forum - I'm sure you'll find one before long

That might be an option, a guy at work has offered (not for free obviously!!) to deliver it should the need arise.Kwackerz wrote:Rob/Dan Im in the middle of you two.. with a bike trailer.. lemme know if you get stuck for transport of said beast from God's own county down to webfoot land..
