I did this mod a few weeks ago, keeping the K&N filter and chopping the top off and adding the seal, don't know why i made so much fuss about it in the earlier post! :smt003

does it actually work or is it a waste of time?

Think you need to ask someone with a bit more experience, i don't think i ride the bike hard enough to tell, sure there must be a difference but i can't really tell as i only went out for an hour and it had been a while since i last rode the bike in standard mode, mainly did it for the practicality of getting more air in there on the recomendation of most on here, the way i ride i prob won't feel much difference with either? The difference i proberbly felt could easily have been the fact i feel more confident on the bike this year so maybe pushing a bit more?

Easy and satisfying mod to do and for the more eperienced of you would imagine it's worth doing

yes it does work and yes it does improve performance through the rev range and at the top end

:)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
