Hi all,
Post Code is the BIG THING! Living in the "rural" areas are great for you country bumkins in here

Us city folk pay through the nose

My post code is friggin nuts.... Insurance company's must think it is down-town Beirut, although sometimes depending where you go it can be, like most cities....
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

Had my renewal through today.. I'd say my postcode would be something like "City Suburb" or similar. Lower quote than last year too.. Which is good.. Going to let them stew a little and hopefully get the price down even more.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Sounds reasonable.

Who was it with?
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Just paid mine today - £153 fully comp with Ebike. All mods have been declared but they are mostly cosmetic apart from the silencers and ohlins shock.

My insurance renewal isn't due till April but I've just done and online quote on a multi-bike policy with "E Bike"
Came out at £338 Fully Comp for the Falco, The GS (all mods on both bikes declared) and they'll cover my little classic Yam 100 for free.
Doesn't sound too bad a deal, but of course I'll be shopping around

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!

Just done mine.
£430 for the Falco and ER6. Fully comp, prot no claims, commuting, £5750 declared value. EU wide RAC cover.
This is what happens when you live in one of the countries' top ten bike theft hot spots and don't have a garage. They wouldn't have fully trained attack cat as a security measure either.
Where ever I lay my hat.....

just got my renewal through for $320ish, noticed that I'd forgotten to tell them about my new reg No. (new state, new number) so while on hold I did a quick quote on their online thingy and it came up at $260. I have declared mods so I would expect that to be a low quote, but I mentioned it anyway after changing my reg on the phone and the nice lady managed to get down to $275 in about 3 nanoseconds.
Moral, ask and ye shall receive.

Had a renewal from Motorcycle Direct of £260 (without breakdown cover), then got them down to £205...went online as a new customer and got a price of £156 fully comp (1 NCD, 3 pts)...same company....bizzare?!!
