I'd agree with you. If their estimates are right then it'll save a lot of unnecessary seal replacements. Got to be worth a try.


Although not relevant to this, I spent a summer working for Castrol research while I was doing my degree. I worked in their Engine Test facility and stripped and rebuilt engines for evaluation of the oils they were developing. They asked me to stay on rather than go back to my degree but although I liked the work I carried on with my studies.
At that time they had a number of staff that rode bikes - so I was always confident that their bike products were given appropriate attention.

I have one of these. Not used it but if my seals start sealing I will try it. They're actually meant for crossers to get mud etc out of the seals
