A Tuono RSV4 new but without the posh traction conrol package ?
Bit random I know but Im trying to price up finance options and i can only find prices for full fat full spec models.
The total price for the 2014 low spec is £12,900 and I have seen high spec for less but with higher initial deposit ( £ 10,900 )

Looks as though they only do one model now - The Tuono V4 R ABS

It seems to come with the full APRC package.

Sadly there no longer seems to be a Factory version with the suspension goodies

If you want one without the electronics (or a Factory) you'll need to find an old one. Maybe a dealer somewhere has an old one that has not been used.

It seems the ad I was looking at is not entirely honest. It is claimed to be a 14 plate non APRC.
So thats bollocks and very expensive then

Now looking at one , full spec for £9999, hopefully with a finance deal which means I wont have to sell any of my vital organs

Could easily be correct. 14 plate only tells you when it's been registered

Well just got a message from the other guy, the tuono Im looking at is not ABS APRC, to be honest I think I prefer the lower spec, maybe a bit less to go wrong ?
My school of thought is ' If you cant ride it without electronic rider assistance are you really competant to ride it at all ?
Riding by ' arse dyno' is a good way to ride !

Ok, I'll spec up if you pay the difference !
Will be doing some financial acrobatics to afford the base model, sub £14k really dont stretch too far !

My thoughts exactly. If you've not developed any throttle sensitivity then I guess when moving onto something quick, the gadgets might save you a lot of pain. However if you're an experienced rider and then start relying on the gadgets you'll begin to deskill and might then find moving back to something without the controls, involves a lot of pain.

Yeah - but if you've got the gadgets, you have the power to switch them off.

If you don't have them you can't choose to switch them off.

Might be the same result but only if you have them can you be man-enough to choose to ride without them.

. Sorry if I understated my point but I thought your scathing comments about Moto GP riders and broken traction control systems,( when veiwed in context of this post ) are very funny indeed.
Perhaps I should have added a smiley

Anyway, I've watched a lot of stuff on T RSV4's, they are indeed a beast that may be hard to tame, as was my dog but I trained him without the use of an electronic collar !
Sadly, I will have to put this plan on hold for a while, hopefully my impending pay rise WILL mean a new bike !
