Hi, back to pick your collective brains
1. What do you guys do with your lid when you're out and about but off the bike? Every other bike I've owned had a lock for the helmet to be secured to the bike....but buggered if I can find such a thing on the Falco.
2. Time to change the oil.......any suggestions please? I've heard that fully synthetic isn't suitable.
3. Due to the weather the bike isn't getting a lot of use. Now normally when a bike has been standing I like to spin it over a few times before starting....but the Falco fires up instantly (so far lol). Any tricks of the trade for achieving this? The simpler the better

No it hasn't got anything.
I choose to carry my lid with me - in this day and age I don't want to leave it where some scrote can smash it, cut the straps or piss in it.

That said, some have made up hook arrangements under the pillion hump to which they attach their lid and secure it with the pillion hump over the top.

Partial truth.
Early bikes are susceptible to clutch slip with fully synth oil. Later ones had some change to the clutch and are fine with either fully or semi synth.
If you've an old one, best to stick to semi. Newer ones can choose.

Not sure I would spin it with the ignition killed - I'm not sure whether it would also turn off the injectors or not. If it doesn't you risk flooding it (they do flood easily) and then can be a right PITA.

Just follow the starting procedure in the Owners Manual and you will be fine.

Have now bought a cable lock off ebay, 'joined' Opie, and stopped worrying about starting after a lay-up.
Now if it would only STOP RAINING!
