May yet scavenge

Speedo sensor failed the other day. May yet scavenge the part off the blue corpse in my garage rather than pay £35-£70 for another one. Anyone done the swap? Tips for the mechanically challenged?

Hey get someone else to do it and drink tea?
Besides I don't want you stripping too much off the blue one
Other than that you sure it's failed? As opposed to having a hiccup

Yes I've had 2 fail - swapping them over is:
- A) Mechanically a piece of piss
B) Financially hard to stomach

Oh god - I feel a spanner-moment coming on (tho I worry that a d-rider 'piece of piss' may be for me a 'passing a kidney stone' kind of affair)

1) Have a good look at it kerry 2) plan how you are going to tackle the job 3) apply yourself but take your time...
It does'nt matter how long it takes...
And i am sure if you are struggling and come back on to the forum there will be another falco pilot close by to help you...
