As todays rain cleared, and the evening air smelled sweet, I paid a visit to miss F.
We're not quite strangers to one another, so I boldly and quickly lifted her skirt - and with a mix of shock and anticipation saw that she was
still wearing her chastity belt!!
Not exactly a young girl any more, I can't believe noone ever had her clothes off and the knowledge of what to do before now...
But there you have it. Still restricted... Exciting!
I suppose it will be negligent to not change the air filter?; quite a bit of debris fell out when tapped on the ground.
And we're 100% agreeing that it's the circled blue/green wire that is to be cut??:

Wow I never thought they existed. Did some one buy the bike and not think about how to add 20BHP after it was run in?

Now that have me a giggle and choosing to look on the plus side unlikely they were raping her if they didn't bother to find she had some dirty tricks up her skirt

Don't forget the Mille was restricted in 3 places whereas the Falco only in 2.
Mille: ECU wire, Airbox bung, Exhaust system restriction
Falco: ECU wire, Airbox bung,
Clearly the riders of one variety were less capable to be let loose with the power of the beast.

They still exist in the UK too...
I've just bought a Streetfighter Falco (a 2003 with just 4500 miles) and it was fully restricted, the ecu wire and airbox bung both intact!
Sooo much better now, just need to replace the standard cans, the intake is louder than the exhaust!!

Went out on the Mille this afternoon for a quick blat.
Doesnt really shuffle like I expected although I didnt give it large handfuls of throttle. Going to have to lift the tank and seat as Im sure its still restricted.
Shall report back later..

Yup, 100% agree! It now growls vigorously from the intake when accelerating in the lower half of the rev range; and booms nicely in the upper half! Did a 200 km commute today, so nothing too spirited (but did see an indicated 200 on the speedo just to try things out when the motorway cleared at one point). Throttle response might also be a little smoother than before?

For the sake of keyboards everywhere I think we can assume that 200 was KMPH pr he's found one hell of a mod

As metric (SI) distance units was already used earlier in that same sentence, I took that was a given...

Naah, it's derestricted; Wire cut, Restrictor removed from airbox.. alarm is really f**king loud btw... The air filter is a K and N which is..ok.. but dirty as a soho whore. Im going to bin it as i dont rate them anyways and fit a normal standard air filter instead as a stop gap til I find a Rene airkit mod. I think the air filter is the reason it feels like an SV650..
One thing I have noticed is I cant line the holes up for the front of the tank. I assume I have an expanded tank, either from the fact I was out for a ride earlier, or just as it's expanded.. IYSWIM.. Gonna try and fit it properly tomorrow and loosen the rear tank mounting bolts, etc.

Get a k&n cleaning kit off evil bay
Will cost you less than a replacement standard part and has to be worth 2hp
