How about a day out to Clay Cross

For all the southern falco owners with badly set up suspension, how about arranging a day out to see this Sean guy at Corse Performance. We could book his time in advance and just turn with with shocks to be fitted or just originals to set up.

It would be a long day and an early start, but just imagine the learning curve for all involved, seeing how various shocks and body types are dealt with. It could turn out to be a good little earner for Sean as well.

Maybe one of the guys who lives local to Clay Cross can help with the arrangements. Dependant on Sean's working hours, I would suggest a Saturday is best

Anyone interested?

thanks, considering the amount of suspension questions we get on here, I imagine they may be a few interested.

Surely there is someone a little more local?

I was going to try Tag racing in Bethersden near Ashford in Kent, they have a good rep for servicing (unsure about Aprilias) recommended by my pal.

True, if anyone can recommend a suspension expert down south then that would be easier.

But Sean is recommended and very reasonably priced. Just treat it as a day out. Lots of riding, talking and plenty of time to test out the new suspension.

Clay Cross is indeed a place ... in Derbyshire. used to be a big Kwak dealer. Very good reputation and racing pedigree.

If you are after somewhere Dahn Sarf, I remember that someone spoke extremely highly of these people (OK - they're a bit towards the west country but still very much in the south of England):
http://www.mhracing.com/

Although they are specialists for off-road, apparently they are really good with the on-road stuff too (and I seem to remember the price was good)

...... wish I could remember who it was that mentioned them.

I got mine sorted by K-tech
http://www.k-tech.uk.com/

One thing to remember that most of the good suspension people will be supporting race events at weekends throughout the summer - so Saturdays would have to be planned well in advance.
I had to wait for k-tech to get back from the TT last year and then get some other race meetings out of the way.

BTW - maybe these links will help some to improve their setup before the experts do it properly!

There are also some good guides on the Ohlins website .... but it won't respond at the moment so I can't grab them to post up here.....
