Came back from a ride on the bike, went inside for 10 mins or so and then back out to put it away.
I noticed fuel leaking from the top of the tank. Opened the cap and fuel spurted everywhere including in my face (don't laugh)
So I assume my tank is not venting properly. Does anyone know whether the vent is in the cap or underneath the tank on a Falco?
Cheers
Pressure in the tank

From the manual:
"Open the filler cap and make sure the vent on the tank
is not clogged. where necassary, unclog it using a compressed air jet."
After looking at that I assume the vent you want is up top.

There are a number of pipes in the top of the tank
Bst thing to do is have a browse of the workshop manual: http://www.martinpoll.dk/div_april.htm
Download the OCR version from Martin's site - that one is searchable

I would start with the 3 pipes tucked down by the front sprocket cover
Undo the petrol cap and try to blow up each piPe
If one is blocked - and I suspect it will be, then takeout will be the drains at the bottom of the tank - normally you would get to them by lifting the tank but if you can get to them, disconnect the pipes and then use a pipe cleaner to ream the tubes clear
Be aware that lifting the tank can be a pita to return - the tanks grow !

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
