Hi All
i know i haven't posted yet, i'm abit of a looker instead of a poster.
you guys have some great info on here and from your help i have carried quite a few mods since i bought my Falco last spring.

1./ Clutch jet and oberon cylinder change. what a difference (no more stiff wrists, only limp :smt001 )
2./ Scorpion carbon pipes.
3./ Talon sprocket change. Now 15 and 42
4./ Charging wiring mod. (The white connector that sits on the left of the frame and goes to the alternator was burnt and could not save it, so i hard wired it.)
5./Bought a white Millie shock and sent it to Revs for a rebuild and spring change, due to being nearly 15st with my gear on.
6./ Skidmarx double bubble.
7./ Sidestand is now the Fireblade one. fits perfect with no mods. only thing is i bought from an american ebayer and cost me an extortionate amount of customs :smt009
8./ K&N filter and no restriction
9./ Gabro Chip, runs alot smoother, although i have balanced the carbs with slightly bigger hit to the rear. i.e 1 turn out on the front and 1 1/2 on the rear. i then moved the trim pots with the left one at approx 1/4 to 9 position and the right one at 12 o'oclock. Runs smooth but smells fairly rich when stopped at junctions/lights etc. Do you think this is ok?

I have now purchased the Bellypan and Hugger from Skidmarx, but want to spray both of them Flamingo Red, and as you can guess i am having trouble sourcing the paint.
I have noticed MandP do touch up paints but wondered if anyone new who could supply the correct colour in a larger amount.

last but not least, is there a decent Aprilia mechanic around the Essex area if i need one. No doubt i will in the future..

I'm now waiting for the barrage of insults for not posting :smt018 :smt067 :smt019

Gaz.

Thanks Martdude

Bloody hell, i don't need a credit card.
i need a mortgage.

Think i might go matt black with the belly pan now or wait and save some more pennies.

Ignore him - he's ether delusional or in denial over having purchased a rusty one, when he could have got a Flamingo Red and Anthracite one. :smt003

No idea if this is any help but if you have a paint code these bunch may be of help http://www.paints4u.com/AutoColours.aspx?ProductID=8786 iv'e used them in the past and there service is excellent.

Sound's like a nice bike you have there! any pics? or are they in the gallery section?

i need to balance my throttle bodies as well but i'm not brave enough to touch the trim pots, i would probably screw it all up lol

You can try to sneak a spare "L" in there, but we know where you're going with this ......

Thanks Ntec, i'll look them up when i'm up that way.

As for the pics, Shetland Woody, i will post them when i get the hugger and Bellypan done. i have ordered the paint so hopefully sometime next week.

As for Flamingo's didn't you here that Aprilia changed their name to the lesser spotted Falco's.
Definitely a rare breed. :smt005
