Hi all,

I finally washed my Falco Fighter yesterday :)

While looking at her I thought there was a need of a bellypan to balance the visual weight of a tank.
The thing is that I do not have side fairings covering radiators and fans, there are only Tuono rad guards there. And all standard Falco bellypans have upper mounting points on those fairings. That rules them out (I think)
That leaves me with Tuono one, which does not clear double sided exhaust (and I want to stick with it). Then there is an issue of Mille oil tank that I don't like.
Summing up, If anyone had a spare Falco Fighter bellypan I'd be interested (yeah, right)
Or are there different Falco dedicated pans (different to Pifkee, Skidmarks and alike)? Anyone?
I heard of someone adapting Mille belly to a Falco...?

There have been 2 complete mille bellypans on ebay recently for about £40 delivered. It does need modifying but mainly for cosmetics. If you do buy one make sure it has the rear mounting 'hoop' on the brake side. Its a plastic bracket that holds the back part near the swingarm and goes round the exhaust and is used as a mounting. Would be a lot harder to fit without it.

I'm gonna try to mount a Tuono belly pan one of these days, keep you posted.
Think for dual exhausts a tiny bit has to be cut out not major??(tuono with double aftermarkets?)
Major point is fitting arround the oiltank, first make a test-fit and than I decide what to do...try to keep the better looking stock Falco oiltank.

Hansie, glad to see you here. Do you remember that gold german Falco pig-ugly fighter (rear-ended syle, moto-gp exhaust)... that had Tuono belly, chopped and fitted, weird angle (clearance issues?). Just have a look at that one b4 you start messing around with a dremmel to know what to avoid. I've got a few pictures of it on my computer but no internet at the mo - cannot post (I'm on my PDA).

Sab, why not go for the Falco Fighter unit to match the top fairing.

Bit expensive but will look good with the matched pair. A new Skidmarx unit is around £115 now plus delivery, plus Aprilia paint and painting if you have a pro job done. This lot probably works out more than the alloy unit.
Just a thought.

He's possibly right ^^ I didnt realise the fighter 'pan was so 'reasonably' priced but the fairing still makes my wallet cry.

And hansie, I'll take some photos when i get the seat finished. I may even be bold enough to make a new thread on my twin twins if thats allowed

Not a big fan of the fighterkit bellypan but only did see it in alu finish. Maybe it will look okay when finished in the same color as the engine, or something.

I'd like to avoid 'stock' Falco Fighter look, because I don't like it for some reason. I don't actually know why

I like the front fairing (painted), bellypan would be fine too - when painted - I guess.

I'll give CWalker a shout if he's still got one. New one is too dear for me at the moment.

Tried the Tuono bellypan tonight but it doesnt look right with the Falco oiltank.
Made a picture to late to post it now.

Ooops sorry missed this sebastian. I'm fitting my new wheels tommorow night but still havent got a seat unit made. Might have to put the original on as im running out of time. I'll post piccys as soon as I do something[/]

Also, I'm waiting to see what the tuono one looks like
