Just got my quote through and totalled £211
Cut a long story short I rang them to add NCB Protection and remove the RAC at £34
New quote 120
I over the moon but Thats out of order as £100 difference if not rang

Its all a scam
Got a renewal invitation for the car at twice the cost.
Stuff that, price comparison web search found a quote for the same as I paid this year and you guessed it, from the same company I was already with.
Phoned them and they assured me the renewal cost was the best they could do so I then gave them the quote number from the comparison site and invited comment.
Oh says the tart on the other end, can we ring you back once I've checked. Rang back and said sorry but the best we can do is £xxx which was 11 quid cheaper the the quote from the comparison site
As I said, all a bluddy scam because they rely on the fact that apparently, 85% just pay the renewal without bleating about it
