Oil leak

I know this is a "how long is a piece of string" question but after riding I have an oil leak which dissapears once the oil engine is cold.

Are there any nailed on places where I should look to cure it.

I checked the filler cap because it looked cross threaded but I seem to have sorted it.

No obvious signs from oil drainer bolt (looks really small ) and the engine itself looks very clean and dry.

I've heard the cam cover seal on the front pot where the camshaft sensor goes through can sometimes leak - usually after a service when it has been removed to check the valve clearances.
I seem to remember some having leaking oil pressure switches.
Apart from that I guess any seals and hoses - but with it happening when you are running, I'd suspect somewhere near the top of the engine or that gets more pressured while running - like those first 2 suggestions.

Thanks, at some point I want to remove al of the plastic so I will get a better idea of what's going on, I will monitor it espeacially when I start riding it more.

More than anything I hate leaks as it makes the bike look crap when you see little marks under it.

if you say the filler was cross threaded it was probably that.
I'll bet it disappears now.
Mine was loose when i got it and i'd get a drip now and then.

Go for a ride, park it see where the drip is.

clutch pushrod oil seal is popular on a lot of bikes.
