Plugs

After looking around the bike to get used to working on it I looked at the job of changing the plugs, are they as much of a t**t to change as they look.
To say it is a compact set up is an understatement.

Front ones are the biggest bother.

Raise tank
Remove airbox lid
Remove airbox base
somehow blow out any grit that has accumulated in the spark plug wells (not easy without an air line - tbh the hardest bit of the whole procedure)
remove plugs) One of them requires a plug spanner with a knuckle in it - or the use of the plug spanner in the Aprilia tool kit that you can turn with an open-ender.

Change plugs, reassemble.

Cheers for that I understand now, access through the top etc. creates the room.

You can use a 3/8" drive standard plug socket if you have a 20mm extension






....means you can use a torque wrench as well :smt002
