Quoted £289 fitted to the bike for a pair of Pirelli Angel's is this a good or bad price.

Cheaper if I took rims off but the idea of messing about with wheels and stands puts me off.

That's a crazy price.

Even if you go to somewhere to supply and fit, the price difference shouldn't be that great.

Depends how desperate you are but if you can wait a few months, Pirelli run a Cashback promotion every year. Last year the Angels were in it (£25 cashback)and I think the Rosso IIs. Not sure what they'll have this year but it makes a difference if they are including the tyres you want.

The Angel STs I have bought were £189 (not fitted) but I got £25 cashback from Pirelli bringing them down to £164 plus whatever it costs me to fit them.



You just need to know somewhere that will fit them for a reasonable price.

I think I know what I will do, I will speak to the shop that are fitting my shock next month, buying the tyres online I can get them for under £200.

Where we're you getting quotes from TonyUnn? M&S on Westgate Road are doing some decent prices at moment. My bro in law just had a Bridgestone BT-021 fitted to the front of his FJR ride in ride out for £100. TyreSpot on Sandy Lane are normally ok too if you're prepared to haggle. I always take loose wheels whenever I get mine done - tight and I like tinkering!

The £289 quote was from sandy lane depot and I have not heard from M&S yet, might have to ride down there and ask them.

Going price by me is about 230 a pair, ride in - ride out.
Had roadsmarts on the kwak last year and rosso 2s on the Falco. Wangled some freebie bent valves as part of the deal.
