In need of a rear brake pedal

When I fitted my scottoiler a couple of weeks ago the bike topped onto the right side, it managed to twist/bend the brakE pedal. I've tried eBay bu that just come up with the rearset with everything but the pedal or non falco pedals (good old eBay). Is anyone breaking a falco or perhaps has a spare one knocking around? or is it safe to have mine straightened? It seems to bind slightly on the pivot without the spring fitted but returns ok with it, I just doesn't line up with the brake light switch.

If you can get the brake pedal off and clamp it in a vice or somesuch, then it should be possible to straighten it. Gentle heat would assist the process, although you do need to be careful not to apply too much heat, as aluminium goes crystalline and fractures above a certain heat. If you have a hot air paint stripping gun, that should give about the right level of heat.

Then you need to get a piece of tubing of the right size to fit over the pedal to back to 'persuade' it back to its correct position.

Nooooo - That one is for the Mille - it won't fit a Falco as the master cylinders are located very differently

Yes, ebay sellers often don't understand where the bikes differ and just assume things fit all the bikes. It's important to check before assuming they know what they are talking about.

I posted up so that people on here don't buy it in error.
