Blue spring shock
Does the shock or the bike have a ride height adjustment at all?
I'm not finding the shock too bad at the moment, but reckon the bike could do with being about 10mm higher at the rear.

Yes, Falco shock length (eye to eye) is 317mm. This makes the bike comparatively low at the back and slow-steering. An Ohlins for 1st and 2nd Gen Miiles is 320 or 321mm long (depending on model) and can be adjusted up to 326/327mm length. This gives a maximum of an extra 10mm shock length available, which translates to 3-4 times that amount at the back wheel, depending on linkages. That really should be enough for anyone unless the bike is being used exclusively on the track.
By the sound of it, a Mille Ohlins on its default setting would suit you perfectly. If you want to see what models to go for, follow this link:

Thats what I have apart from my forks are dropped by 6 lines to allow the fitting of the clip-ons over the triple. About as extreme as you would want to go as mine used to gently shake the bars occasionally until I fitted an Ohlins steering dampermangocrazy wrote:By the sound of it, a Mille Ohlins on its default setting would suit you perfectly.
