evolution tail tidy/DIY version

#1 Post by robbier6 » Mon Jan 02, 2012 3:10 pm

Happy new year guys,

A quick question, is it still possible to get the evolution tail tidy that relocates the number plate and indicators tight to the rear underside, also has any body got the link to the drawings to make your own?
It appears the tail tidy i purchased from germany has the wrong fixing points.

fuerthermore has anybody fabricated a shorter version on the stanard bracket that carries the original number plate, as fabricating one of these would be an option.

oh by the way cans are fitted so is the shock, fired her up and it souns lovely.

Hi Robbie,

Yes, the Evo bracket does bolt straight on with the aid of a couple of spacers. There's a pic of mine floating around in here somewhere showing how I have it mounted. (With a Ventura luggage rack as well.)
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
