Quick blast

Since it chucked it down yesterday and hopefully washed the salt away and the temp reached 10 degrees this morning I had to get the bike out.

A whole bunch of things were experienced, the new helmet I got is excellent, the optimiser is working well, bike fired up at the first and only press and you are doing 75mph almost before you look down to check your speed.

So all in all it has proved what I and many of us already know the PB article is bollocks, my bike is more than I could ever hope for, pulls like a train, looks good and is a thirsty little madam.

Happy new year to all.

I was looking at my mercury falco from the same angle has your avatar picture, And i thought what a handsome beast the falco is.
Funny enough when i was glaring at the bike my thoughts were just the same has yours. :smt003

I have had mine (The Dark Side) for 7 1/2 years still love it to bits and think it looks great.
The fact that it is rather different means it does not seem to date any more.

Had my first ride of the new year on the Falco yesterday. The roads were almost dry in places! Anyway the way the thing picks up its skirts comming off a bend or round about, puts a smile on my face.

I was also out on my bike yesterday

Still brings a massive smile too my face.... Though I did get a squirm from cold tyres on a roundabout with lots of crap on the road .... And I mean crap as it was in rural Norfolk and cattle do get driven up that section of road....

Hopefully it'll be all up and running again soon.

.... depends what you mean by "finished". We all know a Falco is never finished. However it'll be back on the road very soon.

Snow next week then

For newcomers, Andy is also known as Noah..... When ever he starts the falco he becomes the motto of 617 (the dambusters) squadron - "après moi la deluge"

Rather scarily he started his falco at the beginning of December 2009 - and we remember the snow fun we had then

(thank god my Tactical Support RAC Vehicle is always close by)

.... as you know Nursie, my bike is normally ridden almost every day and I don't think we've had snow or rain quite that frequently.
