Back from Germany tomorrow after 2 weeks away. Will El Falco start? Been left in the workshop without an optimate, so wonder if the battery has held it's charge.

Prize? You do realise that I have to work to pay the rent, put food on the plate, buy bits for the bike and then by clothes for the daughter. (In that order).

Yes Blinkey, you can phone a friend, I may get you t call the AA at about 1730 tomorrow :smt017

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Course it'll start. It's a Falco. Have you ever known one to NOT start. Ever? :smt002 :smt003
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

If no alarm fitted then yep it'll start no problem.
If however, you have an alarm & it is wired up in working condition................. I would go and get a new battery ready, spares for a starter sprag & download the full workshop manual just incase :smt003

You missed the option of getting whoever is nearby to get it on a charger before you get back :smt017

I had that option, but the idle bastard started moaning about it. Christmas duties for him I think.

Got back and it started first time, no probs :smt003
