If you are removing an ohlins shock, remember to use the foot peg brackets on the lower setting.... there is not enough room otherwise to get the shock out.....

I pass a piece of 20mm solid bar through the frame and use a lifting strop and chain blocks pete, I find i have greater control over the bike

I have two top tips for today
1st dont pull out into the outside lane at speed without properly concentrating
2nd don't have a shredded ntyre whils driving fast at night in an audi especially the one where the wheel has some weird arrangement that requires 3 arms to put it back on

You could use an Ulti-pro stand that doesn't use the footrest stuff.
