damp roads this morning and i took oasis for MOT, its passed but back tyre was close(Advisory) which padgets have offered to help out with

any way on way home i overtook a car and give it the beans, almost shit myself but had to grin also. I have never had a bike wheel spin before so new tyre may need fitting straight away

I had wheelspin in the dry at about 50. Yes it was a bit of a novelty and yes I changed the tyre the next weekend.

Happens a lot here in Saudi. Roads get oil and grease for months without rain to wash them clean. Have to be careful not to lose the front end braking or the rear stepping out on the gas.

Never had it with the Falco. Had mahoosive spin on the B12 a few times but put that down to wheelbase against tyre grip against weight distribution against it pissing it down. The tyre was fine each time - Bridgestone BT010's which were brilliant in the dry - and even had the correct amount of atmosphere in it.

That doesn't sound like a huge amount of fun. Sounds like the surface in the Dartford Tunnel last time I went through. We've got a bloke working out in Saudi at the minute and he reckons there aren't many bikes about.
