Hi guy's, just joined after being recomended by fellow forum users on the aprilia forum. Some of you may know me allready from there
for those that don't i own a 2000 falco, had her for around 5 years and i'm very happy with her. She's had a few mods ie double bubble screen, cnc levers, carbon akropovic slip ons, gsxr sidestand and in the post on the way back a refurbished rsv mille rear shock

i hope to own her for a long time to come and i will try and contribute to this site when i can
I also own a honda hornet 600 which iv'e had for around 8 years and a gas gas 250 trials. Iv'e had various other bikes in the past but these two really stand out and nothing else so far has tempted me away. I live in Shetland isle ( a small island of the top of britain) and am Married with a young baby boy

some random waffling there but trying to build a picture
Anyway that'll do for now and i hope to be back often
Cheers
Woody

It's our way of saving the European economy so that we all have a future - we create long lists of "must do" jobs which stimulate expenditure - specifically targeted at the hard-pressed manufacturing sector .... and where genuine parts are required we are also doing our part to sort out the struggling Italian economy.
I think that it's about time the various world leaders bothered to acknowledge the good work that we have been doing to prevent global financial melt-down.
Some may think that we're just tinkering with bikes - how little to they appreciate the magnitude of our endeavours.

Another welcome here, Woody. Saw the invitation on AF1 and wondered if you'd show up here. At least if parts show up on here you're fairly sure you'll be able to afford the postage...

Hello Woody and welcome over to the other side
The suspension pdf's are on my hotmail account and would be easier to email to you if you could pm you email address, if not i'll work out how best to get them onto here then send them over
I'll have a look for the info i had from Falco9 as that should help too

Thanks for the welcomes guy's, once i get the refurbed shock back if it's decent weather i'll try and get out and take some fresh pics. Iv'e got a 100amp starter solanoid waiting to go on, i'll do that while i'm doing the shock.
I'm planning on doing the oil jet mod aswell next time i change the oil. I'm also going to go up two teeth on the rear sprocket as she could do with new chain and sprockets.
One mod i don't fancy doing is the wiring mod for extra juice as i'm not brilliant with electrics

it took a few suggestions from fellow AFI members to help figure out how to get my led indicators to flash properly

Don't do the wiring mod unless it's really essential - you could over charge the battery.
TBH most people don't need to do it (despite what you might read elsewhere)

Got my volts back just by cleaning well and liberal dosing with silicon grease
