Every time I look at the bike in it's less than complete state I get the urge to do something else on top of the stuff I'm doing already.
Bought a set of indicators, brand new, to fit to the bloody thing now. Money I can ill afford having just spent £800 on a new sofa for the lad. Then I got a shout off a mate with a set of TB's - standard 51s but complete with TPS, injectors, and inlet rubbers - wanting £20. Well you have to don't you?
This is on top of all the other money I've spent/committed to spending. Why did I start this? Why didn't I just buy a bloody Jap? Actually don't answer that.
And I still need to pay Rich for some stuff.
If you read this Rich...
Answer your bloody phone.
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

Its a drug rob. some roll there sleeve up for it. we enter into this whole heartedly because we love the bikes we own. It is expensive, time consuming checking ebay. sorry camping on ebay. unfortunatly that one bit we need there is 20 more looking for the same bit which pushes the price up. But what else would we do. I dont smoke although i do like a drink, i work long hours. so i get what i want. Then what i find is when you have a list of things you want for your bike, they all come at once. then you need to find the money from some where. I think when modifying something you need a plan and stick to it, then you can add and alter things at your leisure. hope this helps

A plan you're supposed to have a plan bugger that's where I've been going wrong ... Again lol
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Plan? No plan here, they never survive the first contact, so it's just on a whim now.

At least we are only working on one Falco, Blinky has to combine 2 seperate Falco's, double the fun, double the chaos

Just do the bits you want when you want. Pick up bits when they are cheap(ish) and fit them when you find the time. I've got quite a few things waiting to be fitted - some may never get on there.
There's no rush

Mines been fairly gradual over the last 5 years. latest is aquisition was Reggie's OZ wheels - looked ok in OZ blue against the bronze bike but not quite right - so there off the bike again now , discs off and bearing out and they are with the painters (another £120). I'm having them mirrir polished up to the shouler on the rim them sprayed in metalic black 2PAC(maybe cherry red).
Need some new indicators and have to redesign/refit the tail tidy. - The journey goes on and on and on......... And non of mine are mechanical engineering mods !!!

Exactly. There are no prizes being awarded
(although we could do a 'Bike of the Month' like they do on Griff's forum).
I've had a set of OZ wheels, 4-pad calipers and a radial brake master cylinder for over a year now, and they're still not fitted. But they are nice to just have a look at occasionally...

Just had a quick trawl through fleabay and created a wish list worth over £700.
None of it will improve the performance of the bike.
I need a new credit card.

I dread to think how much the following list would cost, even if is feasible
RSV4 front forks and brakes
Hooked/Aprilia Performance airbox kit
Chip
Rearsets
Respray
Single side swingarm
Complete titanium exhaust system
Carbon fibre wheels
Complete set of titanium bolts
LED rear light conversion
HID headlight
A lottery win would be more like it
