It's a slow process...

#1 Post by Falcorob » Tue Sep 27, 2011 9:10 pm

But I am gathering the bits to turn my beloved Bess into something more comfortable (I'm getting on a bit) and less likely to sit in the garage unloved for long periods of convalescence - mine not hers.

So I have the white shock and linkage - fitted.
The Pazzo levers, Mille complete exhaust system, Mille Oil Tank, Mille Swingarm, new clutch master cylinder (mine leaks), and have my eye on a 'comfort kit'.
Then there are the new reservoirs, paint and decals, and different pegs at the front and hanger at the rear. Then all I have to do is the indicators, number plate hanger, hugger, bellypan, and various other bits and bobs.

It's never ending. Why did no-one warn me about this 18 months ago? :smt009
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

have you tried putting the bars over the top yolk? - well worth it.

I didn't think you had to change the linkage for a white spring sachs, make sure you have the correct link and triangles or you might get odd results.

and I agree totally with HisNibbs, there's always another thing. I'm certain you would have had fair warning.

Is this the "fried egg" conversion?
What does it give - other than a satisfying breakfast?

.
You don't - same linkages as Falco for the White Spring Sachs
