Reg number seems familiar. Cant place it though.

Crank 136? Achievable but it'd have to be a bloody good base bike to get there and the tuning would merit more than a mention of 'Mille ECU and Chip'

I suppose the question is which make of Dyno...

Crank BHP will always be one where fiddle factors are applied as they measure it at the back wheel and then factor in assumed figures for transmission loss to come up with an "at the crank" figure.
Not difficult to make an assumption of a very inefficient transmission and come up with a big number.

Thank god for that i thought i was going to have to start saving again ........ :smt009

Haven't touch my bike since the exhaust mod as i'm saving for that Dyno run which is very much needed to get it running right .......Screaming well from 7 upwards but between 3 - 5 is a bag of nails , thank god for that moto gp pipe as it's so loud i'm too busy looking out for the old bill rather then paying attention to the bike !!!
Just finish fixing up the garage as well so it's painted out and now ready for the bench and bike to move back in ...........HAPPY DAYS !!! :smt003

And if the measurement is on a Dynojet dyno, another fiddle factor is automatically added in. I'd say a genuine figure would be in the region of 115 Rear wheel bhp, and that's probably being generous.

I will give the seller his due:
Dear aladinsaneuk,

Dreaming ..... well you might on the right dyno with a lot of mods on it but that's a pretty ambitious figure

.... 108 at the back wheel is better than a standard bike .... and reckoning that would translate to 136 at the crank seems somewhat over-optimistic to me.

Anyway, who cares, they're only numbers. It's how the thing actually rides that matters and that's down to a lot more than headline BHP

So what would you guys say an RSVR makes then if the Falco is so far down ? I was always under the impression that the Falco was 118 and the rsvr 128 or figures like that ??.....Maybe time to get my self back on a GIXER again ........ :smt005

I think the 118 figure that's often quoted for the Falco is an "at the crank" figure.

From memory the Falco is 108 at the RW, 118 at the crank.

Mine with RC cans, chip and evo air box mod was 119 RW. So close to 130 at the crank. It is a black one after all.......

Probably .... and have you factored in the salt-air and clotted-cream fuel enhancer that must be available down your way ................?
