Dry weight

I tried searching for this, but couldn't see an answer.
Claimed dry weight for the Falco seems to be between 190 and 200kg if you believe google. I was just wondering if anyone had a measured weight?
Not that it matters, it still feels heavy compared to my SZR and light against a mates TL1000 and early 'blade!

The data in our manuals is wet weight so I can't be sure.
Here's a value for dry weight I've seen quoted but I can't claim to know whether it's right

No point in weighing our own bikes to get a "standard" weight either as many of them will have been lightened by changing the OE exhaust cans which weigh a ton - plus other things like wheels - or even ditching the twin pipe setup completely.

I always thought that the Aprilia quoted "Dry Weight" was 189 kilos, for what it is worth.

I thought the data sheet quoted 220kg, can't remember if that was dry though.

That's probably the difference between Britain and the US, depending on whether the stand is made of tissue paper.

My bad - 222kg at startup according to the sheet, just above the circled item.

I know ..... that was my image
(in response to a question you asked, if I remember)

I weighed mine a year or two back when I was at PB. With the carbon cans and a full tank it weighed 212kg. So, with the standard cans it'd probably weigh 222kg ready to go and fully fuelled.
I know that doesn't help with the dry question though...

looking at the average member here, the weight of the bike is not really an issue....

I resemble that remark.

Dry weight is a pretty meaningless measurement anyway!
212Kg isn't bad really

Not bad considering the 2009 Yamaha R1 cross-plane crankimabob weighs 211kg fully fuelled. Ok, it's got a bit more power... but still...
Not bad for a sports tourer!
