After a recent shopping spree, just need a couple of things clarifying (old age)
RSV 4 pad calipers are a direct bolt on, just need to change copper washers.
Fireblade stand - can the mounting plate be swapped as a complete unit or is it just the leg?
Cheers guys

Nearly
They bolt straight on but the banjo's are straight whereas the 2-pad callipers have 90 degree banjos.

I think the calipers require different brake line connections. The mounting is at a very different angle. No doubt some one who has done it and has the specific details will be along shortly.

I think it is just the leg for the blade stand....

Looks like I am going to have to get some new brake lines then, and some banjo bolts

Superb. Might be able to stop the bloody side stand lamp from lighting up when it's up

points to the HEL discount we get - talk to them and say what you want
and why new banjo bolts if you are changing the lines?

I got a silver set of calipers, and think that I will get some gold colour bolts if Nooj does them, or black

The banjo bolts are the same, it's just the banjos themselves. Mind you, Hel send you new banjo bolts and copper washers in their kits anyway.
They are most helpful and the forum discount does work.

Are you MAD !!!
If those that say black is the fastest colour are right, that's the last thing you want with your brakes.

I've just been thinking about the brake lines and the 4 pad calipers and I'm just throwing it out there. Would it be possible to turn the original lines round and use the 90deg ends at the splitter and the straight ends at the calipers?
Might be a bit more problematic if you've gone for full length afermarket hoses, but theoretically should still work, I fink.

(Not saying that I have tried that sort of thing but... it doesn't work - trust me...)
