blinkey 501

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Mon May 30, 2011 4:43 pm

hi every body just thought i would introduce myself,blinkey501 comes from when i used do car racing which i started about twelve years ago.I have always been interested in bikes, and have had various in line fours.I have also got a 600 fazer and for a time a ybr 125 which i used for work.A change of job with a van meant the ybr was not being used and was asked by a 67 tear old guy who i have known for some time if i would be interested in a deal for the falco.I knew he had a crosser that he was doing up had been stolen from his garage four years ago, and so for four years he chained the falco up and left it sheeted over with optimizer running.Hence when i got the falco late january 2011 it had 4900 miles on the clock and made me the third owner.I have never had a v twin before and it took me time to get used to being in second or third in a 30 limit and putting it in top at 65 miles per hour, but now when i gear up for a ride i 90 per cent of the time always take the falco i think it is fantastic.I am 40 years old next month :smt006

Hello, what a sensible choice of bike.

Used to know a bloke from Thorne but he's emigrated to London. Silly bugger.

Hi Blinky,

Nice find, doesn't seem like the 2 previous owners did more than go to a local cafe on it. Welcome

credit card?

PAH - can i suggest a mortgage broker?

and welcome

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
