Well it's MOT time again. (Why does this come round so bloody quickly?)

Given it the 17 times over today and can't find anything wrong but.........

I hate MOT's. :smt013

I find the most important thing at MOT time, is a friendly MOT tester :smt002

I've never found one yet. Almost as bad as Traffic Wardens in my experience.

I've got one and he loves the Falco, (well who wouldn't).
It's the only Falco he's ever tested and he spends more time admiring it than testing.
In six tests he has never noticed the Euro headlight, then again took four years (and DR's post) before I noticed.
Then again he's nearly as old as me and has always liked Italian twins as much as old Brit bikes. He toured Europe with the missus on his Moto Morini 3 1/2 last year.

Good luck with your MOT Rob!

(if my Raptor passed - your Falco should have no problems)

Good luck Rob, mine went through last month, got an advisory for a pulsing rear brake.....I suppose in another test centre that could have been a fail, but the bike looked super clean and tidy and I would like to think that had some influence over the tester.

Mine is due in the next few days .... as soon as I get back from Japan (ash clouds permitting) I'll have to get it sorted.

Heh heh heh. Never even had time to clean the garage muck off it before I took it.

And guess what?

Not even an advisory for the inoperative number plate light. Which he never even noticed. :smt003

Apparently he's never seen a Falco before (kept asking me to move the Mille) and that, plus the fact there was an absolutely gorgeous Vincent something or other there which even I was getting giddy about, must have clouded his judgement a little.

Or it could have been that I nearly broke his brake tester. :smt003 :smt003

If I'd had braided lines I reckon we would have bent the forks and you could have heard the tyre squeal from New Zealand.

Good brakes them Goldlines. :smt001

Get it taxed tomorrow and she's good for another 12 months.

Or until I start taking her to pieces to make the planned mods, but the missus doesn't know about those yet. :smt002
