please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I have read all the threads relating to clutch issues but mine is still slipping! I have changed the friction plates, roughened up the steels, tried 4 different oils. I even changed the actuator rod (after I had split the allen key socket).Now as soon as the engine temp gets up, even at idle, I get huge clutch slip. I am flummoxed ! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Check you have free play at the clutch lever. If the master piston cant fully retract it will hold the clutch open a tad

how old is the falco - as in year of manufacture - and most importantly - what oil are you using?
if you are using fully synth oil - change it to semi synth
if part synth 15/50 change it to 10/40 semi

Ok, the clutch works fine until the engine hits operating temp and I have tried rock oil 15/50 semi, Gastrol 10/40 semi, Motul 15/50 synth. She is an '01 all black baby.

Suspect it may be the may be slipper clutch/vacuum tube related.....

You haven't over filled it with oil have you? Or pinched/blocked the crank breather? Together they will cause horrendous clutch slip.

In around 35k on a falco I never had a problem with the clutch
except when a dealer put full synthetic in the engine but i've read this part can cause a problem on some bikes OEM Aprilia Anti-Return Valve -#8104251 maybe someone here can tell you more....

As you look at the left side of the bike, the crank breather (as I call it, that may not be it's proper name) comes out of the side of rear cylinder, it's a brass spigot with a black tube on it, the other end of which plugs in to the bottom of the air box.
I think this needs to be blocked AND your oil needs to be over-filled to get the undesired effect. My local garage managed to do both of these, but the problem didn't manifest itself until I was riding up the A34 the following day (I guess when the breather finally closed up fully), when all of a sudden I had no clutch bite what so ever. I could shut the throttle and still coast along at 60 in top gear with the engine idling, then whack open the throttle almost to the red line and get no forward drive at all. I coasted into a services, stopped and the bike just sat pissing oil onto the car park. Once the oil level had dropped sufficiently it ran fine again.
