Enjoyed that...

First time out in a couple of weeks, great to knock the cobwebs off! :smt023

Bit windy, but a nice little dash up the A-roads to remind myself why I love this bike! Nearly didn't go this morning, a couple of weeks out and I thought, why bother getting all kitted up when I'm not going to enjoy it, but the Falco rose to the less-than-perfect occasion. Just need to sort the suspension (handling doesn't like 18st of ballast), and I'll be set for summer.

Where's that c-spanner...

There is a place up here in Northwich that will set the suspension up for you. He charged me £35 and it took about an hour.
There are two guys who set it up while you sit on bike. I had it done last year when i upgraded my suspension. Bike now runs on rails.

They are in Barnton and are called Tunnel motors but I dont know their number. He tells you to take it for a spin and then come back for any fine tuning. It is a car garage but he knows his stuff.

I can get the number if you want. I am also live nearby so you could drop in for a brew if you like.

Got it - 01606781121. It's something I'd like to do myself, but first time out I think I might get these guys to do it, and I can take notes for next time.

Cheers Paddy - a brew would be good sometime

Do you know those suspension's settings? I mean how many click of this and that? Sorry fellas for speaking professional language :smt005 If you're weight is similar to mine (85 kg incl. all gear), I could start there...

Well with all my gear on I'm 91Kg or was a month ago, its gone up since then (comfort eating and that)

Will it make a lot of difference when I get the Falco over or under Falco9@s weight?

Probably the same weight as I am 77kg without the gear.
What suspension are you on? I have Maxton front and rear, I would expect the setting to be totally different from the likes of ohlins etc.
I will get my pen out and start counting the clicks for you though

I've got a high spec Marzocchi forks and a rare blue spring Sachs damper :smt005 I think you call this odd setup 'stock' :smt012 No use then.
