Falco heading south

As I type this, my Falco is heading south to its new home in the Midlands. Having promised my wife that I would reduce my bike collection to one and feeling that the BMW is a better all rounder for me especially with its greater tank range when touring, I have, with some reluctance sold my Falco. However, I'm confident that it's going to a good home and I'm sure the new owner will fit in well with you lot. No doubt, he'll be along soon to introduce himself.
Apart from missing that V twin, I have to say that I'll miss the banter and constructive assistance on this forum which is probably the best I've come across. You guys seem to get the balance right; lots of technical chat and help, and lots of humour that never degenerates into personal slurs. I hope you keep it up and won't mind if I occasionally look in. I wish you all many safe and enjoyable miles.

Sorry to hear you've sold it Dusty but at least you've still got a bike. Remember Ridersite isn't just about Aprilias so you've no excuse not to stick with us. :smt003

Looking forward to the Falco's new owner joining in the fun ........

Thank you, gents, for the kind words but being nice to me just makes me feel worse! I admit to suffering major pangs of regret about this. However, it's done now so I'll just have to move on and see how I get on with the K12 as my only mount. It's certainly not a slow beastie and it does most things well but it just doesn't stir the soul like the Falco.

Coudn't agree with you more. I feel exactly the same way about my GS, a great bike and a great all rounder but after a year or so of owning it I just had to buy another Aprilia

Must be an "Italian" thing :smt003

Just how far south did it go anyway?
