I braved the cold and drizzle this afternoon to have my first ride of the Falco that didn't include loads of luggage strapped on or commuting through 30 limits.

I would describe the handling as more 'pig on stilts' than 'poised and ready', but I'm sure this is down to the funnily shaped tyres.
So before the good weather arrives I'll need to fit some new hoops and find my tyre pressure gauge.

Where was the start point?

It reminded me of a place I used to frequent near Guildford, but IIRC thats on the A25 not the A26.

Try not to force bikes coming in the opposite direction off the road though

The start place is Newlands Corner, on the A25! Plenty of bikes there, even with the weather.

I'm using a GoPro camera which has a wide angle lens, it can make traffic in the opposite lane look a bit closer than it is

I want to use the cam for recording track days this summer, using it on the road is like wrapping any road traffic offences you may (or may not) have committed up with a pretty pink ribbon ready to place infront of the judge!

The camera sits on the tank nicely using the suction mount, but I might try and pick up a lower clear screen for a better view.
I'm not sure what to do for MSV tracks as they don't allow tank mounted cameras, I'll see if there is space to fit it under the nose somewhere.

Newlands Corner, that's the very place, thought I recognised it. Last time I was there there was snow on the ground.
