I'm guessing the esystem is new since we last discussed them on here. It seems to have some advantages ... at a price.
The main advantage seems to be the claim that it automatically adjusts for temperature.

I'm sure I have a copy of ride at home somewhere that has a mini test of the chain oilers, I'll try to find it later and scan it if I remember

Nooj found a spot to place the reservoir which kinda eliminates (or makes it easier to live with) the temperature problem:

If you fit one Furygan let us know how you got on and which one you went for .......... thinking of doing the same although maybe riding the bloody thing would help first , bike not scotoiler !!

good replies, i guess i'll have to come back when the thing turns up
Good thread, didn't come across this in my search, the only prob is the Nooj photos are missing apart from the last one, i like Andy's fancy bracket...does it come with a 'twin feed' in the pack?
Thanks guys although looking at this they have the feeder positioned on the chain not the sprocket!

It just sits there, doesn't seem to need anything to hold it in place. As it's upright it means it never runs out of oil under acceleration as well. I've run it onto the front sprocket to keep the swingarm area tidy and free from cable ties and tubing.
The electronic oiler seem to be quite good from the ones I've seen, it has an accelerometer in it, and will only dispense oil when you're moving.

I'd go for the original vacuum operated one every time.
Simple, proven, reliable.
I was at the bike show the year they introduced the electronic one and I talked with the guy from scottoiler. I found out the huge price difference and asked him what were the advantages ..... and although he couldn't say so outright it was obvious that he agreed the vacuum one was far better value and the electronic one had few advantages - more of a feeling that they had to have their own electronic product to compete with other manufacturers' electronic versions.

Think it was actually thrown in as part of the deal when I bought mine
