Falco / RSV left hand switch compatibility?

Hi,
The LHS switch on the bike is driving me a bit mad (small hands). The bike came with the indicator switch being the lowest on the switch.

I've seen a few Falco's and a few Millies with the "normal" layout switch and I was wondering, does anyone know if the Mille LHS switch fits straight onto the Falco?

Cheers

No, the Falco has a pin to hold it in place on opposite side :smt019

Other than that, it fits nicely :smt001

It also allowed me to adjust my clipons a bit more towards the tank (I've got them above the top yoke) and they don't hit the fairing that much any more :smt001

If you haven't already figured it out the pin can be easily removed by simlpy pulling it out with a pair of pliers, it may take a bit of twisiting to get it going

Sounds like that might be a good idea for me as I'm now swapping between the Falco and the BM on a regular basis and keep fumbling over the indicators.

As previously posted, I had a few unwanted horn incidents as a result of swapping between my Triumph and the Falco. Now that a BM has replaced the Triumph, I don't suffer from the horn problem so much but I do get a bit disconbobulated thanks to BMW's unusual switchgear. For those who haven't seen it, left thumb down to go left, right thumb down to go right and right thumb down on a separate switch to cancel. :smt017 I believe they're gradually phasing this out now in favour of the normal layout.

I don't think this is really a Falco/Mille difference but the difference in switch layout between the older bikes and the newer ones.

Of course this doesn't change the advice you've already been given about swapping between them.
