How easy is it to actually replace a fuel injector on our bikes, is it a one for one swap, or do I need to time it with any other components? Any advice would be seriously appreciated on this, cheers

From the various cars and bikes i've worked on having had to replace injectors the answer is they're easy. About the same sort of hassle as changing a spark plug. All the injector is, is a small solenoid valve with a fairly high fuel pressure behind it. When the solenoid is triggered, it opens the valve momentarily thus letting fuel out. No fancy pumps or anything to time.. It's just a valve that operates at a high speed.

I've not worked this in depth on an Aprilia twin.. But it can be time consuming to get panels and throttle bodies off (if needed), but it's really a pretty easy thing to do. :smt002
