For those in the know:
White RSV rear shock.....the one that fits the Falco
How much should I expect to pay second hand?

varies a lot
I know I paid 35 quid for hanna's in good condition - but we were lucky
I have seen extortionate prices quoted though....
as a ball park figure, I would say 35 for one that definitly needs work, 50 for an ok one, and 70 for a pristine one

I think I paid about £70 earlier in the year but held off fitting it. Decided last week I had to fit it but aught to get it serviced first, so dropped it off at Revs and it came back on Wednesday, complete with flush valve. I suppose postage cost a bit, but I was surprised to see my credit card drained by £101.
I'll get it fitted this week, just in time for winter :-(

I think all the above are for the white spring Sachs.
Don't forget that the yellow spring sachs and the Mille-R ohlins also fit with the linkages from the donor bike (or as Mango has done, resprung and revalved to suit Falco linkages).
These shocks are probably a bit easier to come by.

If you're still there DR, i'm currently in negotiation(!!) for a swingarm and hugger etc (gen 1), it's in really good nick, is 85.00 an okay price?
Also the second version of the switchgear looks a straight swap (i have the first gen ones) with 9 pin connector, i've seen various ones on ebay and the 1st gen ones seem to have a second 'white' connecter...the 2nd gen one i've seen doesn't have this...is it a faulty one or do they not have that part?
Cheers

Doesn't sound bad - A few years back I paid £50 for mine without hugger.
Hopefully it also has the guide/protector for the chain that wraps around the swingarm pivot section, the shark fin and the carrier for the rear brake hose and speed sensor cable.
If it doesn't have the usual dent on the RHS caused by a bash from the exhaust, then it sounds like a very good deal.

I thought it was a straight swap but never having swapped it myself, I can't be certain. I do have a set of older switchgear in the garage so I could compare but can't do that at this moment (time issues - sorry)

There are a couple of dents, there's been a few cheap ones on ebay recently so may hold out for cheaper, will be getting it powdercoated anyway...but thanks for the second opinion
