Pushed over :-(

... Pushed over by scooter boys in tescos carpark. Goodbye ncb. No significant damage thanks to the chewed up camouflage of my right hand side, and my main frame crash bung. Broken screen and a nasty dent in the door of a lovely young family's near-new civic. Destruction by installment (and a certain degree of neglect) continues. Sympathy welcome.

... Thanks G, does this mean that you're buying me a 'luckier' replacement lol? ( you can even get me a bronze one.. with an ohlins shock ...fireblade side-stand.. Rene airbox convo .. HUGE-cca battery ... aftermarket clutch slave cylinder.. pretty, black powdercoated Mille swingarm... and utterly superfluous but uber-cool smoked rear lens. Won't insist on mini indicators - I prefer the Mille ones. You can throw in the sexy pyramid bellypan, and an rsvr.net tail tidy, but only if you think it'll amp-up the luck factor lol)

if it was in a supermarket car park

I am willing to bet there is cctv of it

ask the supermarket - and do not hang around doing it as they will reuse recordings after a couple of days

report to police etc - and get a new fairing out of it - as in that obviously happened at that time - was pristine before

and sorry :(

+1 seems like a plan to me

Sorry to hear about this Kerry. Mindless twats keyed my Mrs car the other week too - had sorted out that being resprayed but have had to cancel as she will need my car to get to work while hers is out of action ....... and mine's just shat it's engine ...

Anyway back to yours - loss of the ncb - is this for the damaged civic?
Surely if the cctv shows the yobbos pushing your bike over on to the car, you can't be responsible for the damage? .... if there is cctv ...

FFS! Nail the little tossers up by their foreskins! Very sorry to hear of your misfortune

Any witnesses?

This may cheer you up. When I started biking ('73) we referred to scooters as poof chariots. For a while I had a BSA A65 with a Watsonian sports sidecar, like this: Image
That steel hoop forming the chassis was quite strong, and was ideal for nudging said poof chariots when they annoyed me.

Thats bad luck K1w1boy, but as the others say, check with the supermarket for cctv footage, they usually have it.

Takes me back to an old workmate who was into clay pidgeon shooting, and was selling one of his guns.
Arranged to meet the buyer in a supermarket car park at a half way point, to do the deal.
Went into the far corner of the car park and started looking at the gun, as you do before buying something.
Only been there a few minutes when they were surrounded by three armed poilce cars, who thought they were there to
rob the store.
In the end they got a good rollicking and were let on their ways.

Really bad luck mate, but as others have said checking for CCTV seems a good idea.
Hope it helps.
