Yes, I know the tyre. What compound are they in? SC0, SC1 or SC2?
I've raced hillclimbs with all three and can tell you they grip very well from cold. Enough to get your knee on the floor from cold (without being followed by the rest of the bike).
How many heat cycles have they been through?

They get good reviews, even mentioning a quick warm-up.
i bought a set of these which had been used on track. (sc1 soft front and sc2 medium rear.) i have only used them on the road and was surprised how quickly they warmed up. they are fantastic in the twisties and give plenty of grip. they are also surprisingly grippy in the wet and when you give it too much throttle the slide feels very controllable. the down side of a track focused tyre is that mileage is quite short. ive done about 1300 miles and rear tyre has gone from 5mm to about 1.5mm. although ive got to admit im never really easy on the throttle. they are quite expensive tyres brand new however you can buy track used ones with plenty of tread left for less the a quarter of the price. best tyres ive used!

I will try and get these on over the weekend and let you know what they are like.

There'll be a sticker/print on the sidewall with the text SC1, SC2 etc.
SC0 is a rear only supersoft
SC1 is front or rear soft
SC2 is front or rear medium
All are sticky as hell.

That's a soft front and a medium rear. I've used an SC1 front in hillclimbs (no tyre warmers are allowed) and it's possible to get your knee/pegs on the floor within a few metres. They only get grippier as they get hotter too. The SC2 is a bit more durable, but it's still grippier than any road tyre you'll have ever used - by a large margin. Being more durable is good because it means it'll last slightly longer!
They aren't going to last long though - maybe 600-1000 miles or so but this obviously depends on your riding style and conditions, ambient temps, road surface etc.
You should have some fun!
