Another tyre question

What would you recommend for all year tyres? My criteria is as much mileage as possible, but with the ability to have good grip during the winter/wet months without my tyres turning into something off Fred Flinstones car too quickly

Cheers

Rob

I guess Diablo Stradas would fit the bill very well - I ran them in the past and was very happy with them.
Their replacements (although they are still available) are Pirelli Angels. I've not tried them but I hear they are good.

Z6, fairly cheap, plenty grippy in the wet and dry, last well etc.

Had the initial Dunlop 207's wich were not great, several sets of Conti Road Attacks & Sports which were good and better, in the past.

Now on my second set of Michelian Pilot road 2ct which offer Conti Sport level's of grip and better mileage than the Road Attacks. Was thinking of Michelian Pure's for my next set.

So plenty of good tyres to choose from.

And just to further compound your choices - I run Dunlop Roadsmarts and am very, very impressed...

I second the Dunlops, although I run the Sportsmarts. They are of the same family.
