Hello from RiDE,
Sorry for the impersonal group email but it's quicker that way.

I'm emailing you all because you're on RiDE's database as current or former
owners of an Aprilia Falco, and we're about to run a big feature on this
model. As always with RiDE, we try and involve our readers as much as
possible - you're the ones who know what it's really like to live with these
bikes, after all.

The feature is one of our big 'How to Buy' stories – where we go into detail
about every aspect of the bike including running costs, servicing etc.

If you've got time, we'd welcome an account of your experiences with your
bike - running costs, mpg, tyre life, highs and lows, hints and tips,
modifications you've made, basically any hard-earned wisdom you'd like to
share with the world. You don't have to write us an essay (although you can
if you feel like it!), just the bare bones if that's all you've got time
for. If you could include the following info as well though, that would be
appreciated:
1: Your name, age, occupation
2: Bike – exact model/year
3: Mileage under your ownership
4: Total mileage
And please, send pictures – you and the bike, trips you've done, anything
interesting. I think the plan is to have a couple of pages of everyone's
photos. And it'd be really helpful to have a picture of you to use as a
mugshot if necessary – just a passport-style photo (without helmet!) if
possible.

Anyway, that's all - hope you can spare the time to reply, and look forward
to hearing from you. We don't have a huge number of Falco owners on the
database, so the more (and more detailed) responses the better.

Cheers,

Kevin Raymond

PS: if you're wondering why my email address ends in .fr, it's because I'm a
freelancer, working from home in France at the moment. If you want
reassuring that I'm not some Nigerian scammer trying to steal your soul,
have a look in the back of a current mag, you'll see the same address there.

Yeah - got that too

They won't be interested in mine - it's completely standard ..... and I'd better not go in to print with anything the mrs my find at some point that suggests otherwise .... unless I can't help myself .....

RadialFalco - I think yours is the most modified on the forum - get in there and show the world what can be done!

The only concern I have in us explaining all the mods (you lot that have made them -ahem!) is that we don't give the impression that it was rubbish in the first place and we've had to do all this stuff to make them OK. They are a good bike as standard (like mine :smt002 )
