Thought we might as well have a bit of a roll-call to get an idea who's going.
The poll can give us a quick idea of numbers but don't forget to post up so we know who as well.
As for me ......
I'm a Probably
(depending on how crap the weather turns out and a few other things I've got to get done)
Details:
Meeting at The Castle Barge, Newark from about mid-day
HowardQ wrote:This is how to find the Castle Barge at Newark-on-Trent.
Just so anybody thinking of coming knows how to find it.
The first map link shows the general approach from the A1 / A46 / A617 / A17 etc..
Newark Approach
FORGET the red ring, it's where Multimap thinks the barge is, but it's NOT there.
The next link shows a close up of the area near the river.
Detail Map
As shown on the map, come over the bridge from the left and turn first left into the car park towards the barge.
The final link is to the Castle Barge Website, which has aerial views.

Click on the picture to open site, then click the "Where we are" button", to see detail map and satellite photos.

I'll make one. I've got the pas out from the gaffer, it would be a shame to turn it down.

I'm a "probably", but I've just had two weeks of uproar, so we'll see what Saturday brings...

...I need an MOT.
That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

I am gonna have to miss this one for various reasons.
1) I have my daughter this weekend, I only have 2 weekends a month, so it's quite important.
2) I have just put new tyres on and they really need a good scrubbing in before I do anything like distance on it
3) I STILL haven't serviced it, but thats planned for Sunday
4) It's supposed to be raining.
5) I can't really justify using my weekend "pass" because I have a trackday next Sunday.
errr...........thats about it.
Sorry chaps, would have loved to do it, maybe in the summer?

So, I'm a hopefull (well, that's what the wife keeps saying). My oldest lad has decided he's coming up from London for the w/e so I don't really want to cut short on his visit. On the other hand, if he comes up on his Daytona 955, we will both be there!
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.
