New Flaco rider - any tips??

Ok, spare the obvious humour please
I'm picking my Falco up from Griff tomorrow morning. Woo hoo!! Never having ridden one, any tips about how to get the best, and smoothest style out of it would be welcome. I'm coming from 7 years of VFR750 ownership, so V4 to V2...........I guess half the revs for twice the speed then
Pretty nervous I must admit, so will be taking my time to enjoy, but seriously looking forward to it.
Cheers
Rene

Get on it, ride it, take a while to get used to it - you'll soon get to feel what's right and how it likes to be ridden.
Greetings to Mr Wooley too - when you collect the bike from him.

Hi Renevator,
I came from V4s to V2s, and found the transition relatively painless. To be honest, you're halfway there (if you view I4s as one end of the scale and V2s the other end). They're lumpier and more snatchy at very low revs, but the kick up the arse and the 'being boinged from a rubber band' sensation you get with the V-Twin makes up for that many times over!
And Falcos handle better and have superior brakes to the best set up VFR I've ever ridden...

So what's happened to Renevator?
He was off to pick up his Falco - we were expecting a quick report .... but nothing.
Who thinks he's liking it so much he's taken the long way home .... via every European capital ......
(Actually, Hope all is well Rene )
