That's an easy one - you just need to visit the "Sticky" in the technical section with all of this info :smt002

.... and here's a link to it .....

Mine are needed too at just over 39,000 miles. Is this an easy job to do or should I consult someone who knows the correct end of a spanner to use? :smt002

A strong coffee, a cheese sandwich and a big hammer are all you need for this job.*

Excellent find, but make sure they are "full complement" bearings and not caged ones with gaps in the rollers.

The gapped ones are good for high speed low load. The full complement ones are packed with needle rollers and are intended for high load low speed more akin to whats happening in the suspension linkages.

I tried to track down a supplier (inthe UK) a few years back without success and eventually got them from Aprillia (Metropolis in Vauxhall, London).

feedback:)

they look just the oem ones, yeah big hammer to get them out as the needles had fallen out and the roller on the end of the dog bone had worn so i machined a new one quickly

only thing id say is change them before the collapse as you will loose the dust covers

i got them from the same place

sms

got my wheel bearings from them as well, and the race bearings when i did the steering

Bummer, I didn't know there is an Aprilia dealer in Vauxhall. Where exactly are they? I know there is a Triumph dealer near the tube station. I go there (Vauxhall, not the Triumph dealer) a couple of times a week but either get spares online or from Silverstone at the weekend. I need a tail lamp and could have picked one up today. Not going saf again till next week.

I suppose the 12V 5 / 21W is a fairly standard bulb I should get anywhere???

Yup that's them, must be the place you're tining of FalcoJock as there's nothing much else in the vicinity apart from buses and a tube station. They've got all sorts in there, no not the liquorice ones. :smt009

I've looked at the bikes out on the pavement a few times and it seemed to be Triumph only, so I must go inside next time I'm in Vauxhall. When I made the earlier post, I had a look on the Aprilia spares site I normally use, and checked the price and spec of the rear bulbs. Price for two including delivery - nearly £20, so took a punt on finding them in Halfords the next day - price £3 for a pair, or £4.95 for the "quality" ones. No contest there then...

P.S. Nothing agin' Triumph - it's just they don't do anything I want more than the Falco. The Street Triple seems a hoot but a bit impractical for what I do.
