Went for another ride...

On Sunday. Devils Bridge was our first stop and then we had a pootle up to Penrith and back. Did about 220 miles and she never missed a beat apart from doing the old clock reset after I filled up with fuel.

Got up Monday morning and not an ache or twinge anywhere. Though Bess might have a few after carrying my sorry frame around all day again.

She might miss apexes, though that's more down to my ineptitude than the bikes, and the back shock might be fubar, but she doesn't get left behind in the twisties - though the ground clearance is an issue at times - and just about holds her own on the straight bits.

THE most underrated bike of all time.

Sounds like a candidate for a shock with rear ride height adjustment. Crank that up and you'll hit more apexes and have more ground clearance. :smt001

Faolcorob ???
Is that the one who totalled his ZX9R not long ago.
Really sorry to hear about that mate, hope you've recovered OK.
I have also have a 9R F1P and a Falco, two great bikes but the Falco just wins for me.
Just a thought, why Falcorob on ZX-9R.net but TheManWithNoName on here, you must have had at least two Falcos ?

Had a brand new 02 model in blue back in the day. 15000 miles and 2 years later I sold her because the missus couldn't get comfy on the back.

Missed her ever since. (The bike that is.)

When I totalled the Kwak I tried a Bandit 12 as a means of slowing down but just kept running out of ground clearance and handling. So I bought a Blade. Didn't like it. So I bought Bess.

And now I'm a happy bunny again. :smt003

And the name is down to the fact that this site won't let me register as falcorob for some reason. It's what I'm known as everywhere else.

ZX9R,net, Visordown, Bikerbabble, Hooners, Tropical Fish Forum, Pistonheads, and so on.

So if Kwackerz could ever see his way to perhaps changing my name on here I would be eternally grateful. :smt008

Can't see any reason why falcorob wouldn't register. Was it on the same email as your current acct?
We have no other falcorob on the books.

No idea. Was the first name I tried and it wouldn't allow it. Which is why I chose the current name.

Rob I actually thought there was an older Falcorob user on here (or possibly our old Falco site), which I assumed was the name you used on an earlier Falco.
Either way it's nice to have you back on a Falco, back on the site, and now back using the name Falcorob. :smt038

I once was registered on Apriliaridersite as Falcorob but had problems with logging on due (apparently) to being on AOL at the time. That would have been around end 2001 beginning of 2002. I remember 'outing' Ben Wilkins when he started work for Bike magazine - to which I still subscribe. :smt087

Anyway.

I'mmmmmmmm baaaa-aaaaaaack. :smt003
